    This treatise brings together around 90 verses of the Quran and 340 hadith — under the headings of 25 principles —which focus on the essentials of Islam, including: the meaning of Islam and faith; exhortations of a spiritual nature, such as trusting in the Divine, remembrance of Him, loving Allah and His Messenger, abstaining from sin, gratitude and patience; and commandments of a legal nature, relating to prayer, recitation of the Quran, fasting, hajj, zakat, marriage, childrearing and good social conduct.

    Turath was founded in 1998 in South London.  Turath means Heritage, hence thieir primary objective is to publish high quality translated material on the Islamic faith. Turath commission translations and  contemporary authored works by scholars from all over the world, and also have a keen interest in publishing unpublished manuscripts. In doing this they intend to Insha’Allah promote a deep understanding of the balance, depth and integrity of traditional Islamic Scholarship to the layperson as well as for academics and students of knowledge
